Connect hardware to Cadreen

Pick your hardware type below. ESP32 is the easiest starting point — the wizard walks you through everything.

ESP32 or Arduino (recommended)

The fastest way to get started. Pick a sensor, wire it up, flash the code — Cadreen walks you through it. No experience needed.

Connect-a-sensor wizard — guided setup for ESP32 with DHT22, ultrasonic, light, motion, and relay sensors

Cadreen Arduino library — install Cadreen.h via Arduino Library Manager for WiFi + MQTT auto-reconnect

Serial bridge — connect Arduino Uno/Mega via USB (no WiFi or MQTT needed)

Cloud MQTT — connect ESP32 directly to Cadreen cloud (no Pi or edge needed)

For more advanced setups — robots, arms, drones, or custom sensor rigs. The Pi runs the Cadreen edge runtime locally.
